Terms of service

These terms are a contract between you and the operator of interdimensionalcable.lol (“we”, “us”). By paying for a spot, using the site, or leaving a listing on the board, you agree to them. They are written in plain language on purpose. They are not a substitute for advice from your own lawyer.

What you are buying

You are buying two things as a single digital product: (1) a ranked listing on the channel board, ordered by how much you have paid in total, and (2) a custom cartoon commercial we generate about the product you describe. The commercial is made to air on this site, live on your permanent page, and be yours to download and post.

Rank is not forever. Anyone can pay more and take the top of the board. Your permanent page number (for example /12) does not change when rank does. We do not promise traffic, sales, press, or a number of views. We promise the listing, the commercial, and at least five minutes as the only paid ad on the channel once that commercial is ready. If someone else pays during those five minutes, their commercial waits in line until your window is over. After that, whoever has paid the most is the regular advertiser. We do not promise an audience.

Price

The price to take the top spot is one dollar more than whoever is currently first. If you are already on the board, you pay only the difference to climb. Prices are in US dollars, charged by Stripe. The amount shown before you pay is the amount we charge, except where Stripe is required to add tax.

What we need from you

A real website or an X handle, a product name, and a one-line pitch. You confirm you have the right to advertise that product and to use that name, URL, and any logo we fetch. You will not submit slurs, hate speech aimed at a protected group, or pornographic material. We may refuse or remove a listing that breaks that rule, that is illegal, or that would get the channel dropped by our payment processor.

If the URL you give us includes a referral or tracking code (for example ?ref=, ?tag=, or utm_ parameters), we strip it and store the plain destination. Links from this site out to your website or X account add our own referral tag, ref=intercable, so traffic that came from the channel can be recognised.

The commercial

We generate the cartoon. You do not approve a script first. The name, URL, and pitch you give us may appear as on-screen text as well as in the picture. Generation can take several minutes. If a render fails we retry. Your board listing still stands while that happens.

You may download the finished file and post it. You may not claim we endorsed the product, or that this channel is affiliated with any other television network or cartoon.

Payment and chargebacks

Payment is handled by Stripe. A completed payment is the start of production, not a reservation. If you reverse a charge after we have delivered a commercial or a live listing, we may remove the listing. See the refund policy for when money comes back.

The site itself

The channel, clips, and interface are ours. You get a licence to use your own commercial and to link to your listing. You do not get the show library, the name interdimensional cable, or anyone else’s listing. The site is provided as a running broadcast. We may change the look, the schedule, or take it down for maintenance.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for lost profits, lost rank, a commercial you dislike, or anyone else’s reaction to your ad. If a court decides we owe you money, the most we owe is the amount you paid us for that order. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, only the limits the law allows apply.
